A Christmas Carol
A co-production of Sylvan Lake Theatre and Central Alberta Theatre
Set in 1843, London, England, old Scrooge’s transformation from a lonely, selfish and money-grubbing miser to a generous and compassionate man is a timeless story that resonates with audiences of every generation. The very popular Christmas story by Charles Dickens, has been wonderfully adapted for the stage by Bridget Ryan. Filled with Christmas carols, ghosts and remarkable characters this holiday favourite is sure to delight audiences aged 12+. Sylvan Lake Theatre’s Tanya Ryga has created a playful, pacy, musical and subtly cheeky spin on this must-see Christmas Classic. Highlights include Music Direction by Sylvan’s own Kerry Heisler and Tom Bradshaw as the unlovable curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge.
