After a wild night on the town with her girls to celebrate her upcoming marriage, Katy worries about the meeting between her true love and her parents. Can a local shopkeeper clear the path for a smooth wedding celebration and work with this bedraggled bride? Or has Katy bitten off more than she can chew?

Barbara joined Theatre Trail in 2023 as a Storyteller and debuted as a Playwright with Bachelor Party in 2024. In April 2025, her play, Grief Sandwiches, was performed at the Heartland Regional One Act Festival, where it was awarded Outstanding New Work.
As a youth, Barb wanted to be a novelist. Realizing she needed a steady income, she instead studied journalism. She is currently publisher of the Sylvan Lake News.
Previously Barb was active with Leduc Drama Society appearing onstage, co-writing a 20th anniversary retrospective Adrift in LA (1999) and stage-managing plays and musicals.

Trisha moved to Sylvan Lake five years ago and has been growing her roots as a mother, nurse, and fitness instructor. She rediscovered her love for acting in fall 2024 through Sylvan Lake Theatre’s ACT UP series and has been hooked ever since. This is her first adult role, and she’s honoured and excited to be part of such a talented, supportive, and welcoming community. In her spare time, Trisha enjoys moving her body, playing with her family, and connecting with nature, herself, and her friends.

June is thrilled to have been cast in Wardrobe Malfunction in this year’s Theatre Trail. She is new to acting and this is only her second play. The first was Grief Sandwiches also by Barbara Pettie, at the Heartland Regional One-Act Festival. June has enjoyed acting in films as well, including Maestro Pictures The Body and Paramount + / 101 Studios Unspeakable: The Murder of Jon Benet Ramsey. She began her acting training with Sylvan Lake Theatre’s ACTUP program and took their additional workshops in Improvisation and Audition. She has also studied in the past at the University College of Fraser Valley in the Theatre Art 1 Program.

Jenna is thrilled to return to Sylvan Lake Theatre Trail as a director. She has spent the past 16 years as Executive and Artistic Director of Against the Wall Theatre in Red Deer and is the founder of Bull Skit Comedy, producing over 450 shows and developing training and mentorship programs. Jenna has recently performed with Prime Stock Theatre (Hurry Hard, Riverona) and in Calgary with Loose Moose Theatre and Firecracker Comedy. This fall, she tours Central Alberta with Mouthpiece’s Big D Show. Past directing credits include The Raven and the Gull, Bachelor Party, and I Ain’t So Tough (Staged Reading).

Since the loveable age of two, Naomi has loved to captivate her audience with her passion and high energy urging them to laugh, think, and cry. Naomi trained in theatre at U of A – Augustana and has since been busy in both community and professional theatre, dance, music videos, and background film work. She was a drama teacher at St. Dominic’s High School as well as directed two musicals for Lighthouse Christian Academy. Naomi has enjoyed performing with Northern Crossings for 6 seasons and Stage Managing “10 Lost Years” at U of A - Augustana. Last season Naomi was blessed to grace the Theatre Trail in “Enchanting Steps” as Belle and this season is excited to be stepping into the role of Stage Manager for Wardrobe Malfunction.
